The structured design of the Surface Laptop Go 3 enabled Microsoft to outfit the device with more power-hungry components. As such, the Laptop Go 3 includes a 12th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of base storage, though the storage is upgradable if needed. In terms of its screen, the Surface Laptop Go 3 features a 3:2 aspect-ratio screen with a resolution of 1536 x 1024, which may seem low compared to standard 1080p or 1440p screens, but it is important to note that this is an ultra-compact computer with a weight of only 2.5lbs. Additionally, Microsoft claims that a major redeeming factor of the Surface Laptop Go 3 is its battery life, which surpasses 15hrs on a single charge.
