The conceptual ‘II Pino’ cabin has been designed by the Studio Beltrame as a holiday home that promises to provide a comfortable place to escape to in the wilderness. The cabin is imagined as an off-grid home that produces its own renewable energy thanks to a series of solar panels on the rooftop that stick out above the treetops to capture the sun’s rays. The cabin has a tree-inspired facade that draws aesthetic inspiration from nature to help it fit in well with the surrounding landscape.
The conceptual ‘II Pino’ cabin features cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels on the interior to further enhance the rusticity of the space. The cabin was selected as part of the Airbnb OMG! Fund! Competition and could be built in the near-future.
