Architecture studio HawkinsBrown refurbishes the British office buildings of Here + Now, which are comprised of meeting rooms and walls covered with moss details. These spaces overlook the atrium and it is made as a reflection of the altering attitudes that were brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and how that altered workplace design. The two buildings are reimagined with a focus on nature connection and overall wellbeing.
HawkinsBrown partner Massimo Tepedino tells Dezeen, “Here + Now is located on a business park, not in a city centre, which provides users with a much closer connection to nature and therefore better opportunity for activity and wellbeing. The idea is that companies can scale up or down and thereby stay on the campus for longer – this ultimately helps to create a sense of community.”
