The whiskey is a blend of a single pot still with a single grain Irish whiskey that started off in rum casks that were sourced from the Caribbean Island of Barbados over two decades ago. It has a sweet taste from the brown sugar and vanilla blend. The pot evokes fruit tastes of orange zest and mango. Master Distiller Kevin P’Gorman speaks about the new release, stating “We worked to marry two traditional spirits together – Irish whiskey and rum – and in doing so, found the sweet spot where the rhythm of the Caribbean meets the beat of the Irish drum. We can’t wait for whiskey enthusiasts to experience Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats.”
