Benefit Cosmetics dropped its Porefessional range of pore-focused skincare products earlier this year and to support this range, the brand is now introducing P.A.T. as an AI-powered pore analysis tool. Created with beauty-tech company Perfect Corp., this tool is the first of its kind from the company to support skincare with a pore diagnostic.
P.A.T. can be accessed on a computer or mobile device, and it uses a camera to scan a consumer’s face and pores, and assess everything from clogged pores and pore size to textural differences that can be addressed with the Porefessional products.
Previously, Benefit Cosmetics worked with Perfect Corp. in 2018 to develop its virtual Brow Try-On, empowering consumers to try on different brow shapes and styles. Now, the beauty brand is bringing the success of this experience to a new category.
